Before release
macOS auto-updates require the application to be signed and notarized. The updater installs from ZIP archives, not DMG files; DMGs are optional for first-time installs.
The two YAML manifest endpoints are configured with no-cache response headers so clients revalidate and can discover new releases promptly.
Install the prior version on one Mac and one Windows PC, publish a newer build, then confirm each app detects the update, restarts, and reports the new version.
Open the manifest URLs above from a browser. Each should return HTTP 200 and display plain YAML text, not an HTML page or a redirect. A 404 is expected until the first release is uploaded.
